Gold sell, Noida Extension: pickup or the counter?
30 October 2026 · 5 min read
Selling gold in Greater Noida West? Ask us about your piece before you decide.
Call 9217742656WhatsAppFor a gold sell in Noida Extension, the counter is usually the simpler choice if you live within about ten to fifteen minutes of it. A pickup is the better choice if you would rather not carry gold on the road. We are Cash for Gold - Sona Do Paise Lo, at Shop 25, French Arcade, Sector 16B, Greater Noida West, and pickups cover Delhi NCR. The test and the scale are the same either way.
Gold sell in Noida Extension: should you book a pickup or walk in?
Nothing has to happen today. Take your time and pick the way that feels safe to you.
Here is the short version:
- Counter: you bring the gold. Open 9 am to 10 pm, every day.
- Pickup: we come to you. Best when the gold is a lot, or when you do not want to travel with it.
- Same result: your gold is tested on a karatmeter and weighed on a scale that faces you, in both cases.
You can also read the longer comparison in Cash for gold: pickup or the counter, and how to decide. This post is only about Noida Extension.
How long is the trip to the counter from where you live?
The counter is in French Arcade, Sector 16B. It is the same place people call Noida Extension. Crossings Republik is across the road.
Most people here walk in or ride over in about ten to fifteen minutes. That is a map estimate, not a promise. Traffic at Gaur Chowk (Char Murti) or on Bisrakh Road can change it.
These areas are the usual starting points:
- Gaur City 1 and 2
- Ek Murti Chowk
- Sector 1, Sector 4, Sector 16 and 16C
- Tech Zone 4
- Amrapali Dream Valley and Leisure Valley
- Kisan Chowk, Patwari and Vaidpura
If you are in one of these, the trip is short. For a first-hand account, read Selling gold near Gaur City: what the trip looks like.
What does a home pickup look like, step by step?
A pickup follows the same order as the counter. Only the place changes.
- You message first. Send a few photos and the rough weight if you know it. Nothing is decided at this stage.
- We agree a time and a place. Pick a time when someone else in the family is home, if you like.
- We arrive and you show the gold. Keep it on a table in front of you.
- The piece is tested on a karatmeter while you watch. You see the reading on the screen.
- It is weighed on a scale facing you. You read the number yourself.
- You hear the figure for your pieces. It comes from the purity, the weight and the rate that day. We work it out after testing.
- You decide. If you say no, you keep your gold and nothing is owed.
Payment is covered in How you get paid, and how fast. On safety, read Is it safe to sell gold to a buyer who comes to your home?
When is the counter the better call?
Choose the counter when:
- You live close by, in Gaur City or in the sectors near Sector 16B.
- You have one chain, one ring or a few bangles. A short trip is easy.
- You want to look at the screen and the shop before you decide.
- You would like to compare us with another shop first.
Many Delhi chains have branches along the Gaur City road. The difference here is the karatmeter screen and the scale facing you. Any shop should let you see both. If you want to check, use Five questions to ask any buyer before you hand over your gold.
When is a pickup the better call?
Choose a pickup when:
- The gold is a full set, or several pieces, and you do not want to carry it.
- Someone at home is elderly or unwell and cannot travel.
- You are on a high floor in a society and the trip with a bag worries you.
- You are outside the ten to fifteen minute range, in Delhi NCR.
Typical loads here are old chains, bangles, a wedding set or a few broken pieces. A pickup makes sense for the bigger loads. A gold sell of one small piece is easier at the counter. See Carrying gold safely when you go to sell it if you do plan to travel.
What should you send on WhatsApp first?
Before either option, send a short message. It helps both of us.
- A clear photo of each piece, or of the whole set laid out
- Any stamp you can see, such as 916 or 22 karat
- The weight, if you know it, in grams
- Whether you want a pickup, and your sector or society name
- Whether you have a bill. A missing bill is fine; see Selling gold when you do not have the original bill
Do not expect a final figure from photos. A figure comes only after the karatmeter test and the weighing. Anyone who gives you a firm number from a photo has not tested your gold.
Remember your photo ID, which is explained in Why a gold buyer asks for your photo ID.
Is a pickup really the same as the counter?
Yes, in how your gold is handled. The same test, the same scale and the same right to say no. Where it differs is only the place.
Whichever way your gold sell goes, ask for the reading and the weight before any figure. If you are unsure, take a second quote. Read Should you get a second quote before you sell your gold?.
