1 November 2026 · 5 min read
Selling gold in Greater Noida West? Ask us about your piece before you decide.
Call 9217742656WhatsAppFor a gold sell in Noida Extension, compare two quotes: one from a buyer who tests your gold in front of you, and one from the jeweller where you would otherwise exchange it. Then run five checks that take about two minutes. Our counter, Cash for Gold - Sona Do Paise Lo, is at Shop 25, French Arcade, Sector 16B, Greater Noida West, and pickups cover Delhi NCR.
Nothing has to happen today. Take your time and compare.
Gold sell in Noida Extension: who will you actually meet?
Sellers here meet four kinds of buyer. Each works differently, so the same gold can get four different answers.
- Jeweller showrooms that exchange. You trade old jewellery against new. This suits you if you already plan to buy a piece. It suits you less if you want cash.
- Chain branches. Many are branches of Delhi chains along the Gaur City road. They are organised, but the quote often depends on a head-office process rather than on the person across the counter.
- Resellers. These are small buyers who take old gold and pass it on. Some are fair. The trouble is that you cannot see how they reach their number.
- Home-pickup buyers. Someone comes to you. This is convenient. It is also the one case where you cannot walk out of the shop, so the checks below matter more.
None of these is wrong by default. What matters is whether you can watch each step.
What are the five checks that take two minutes?
Do these at any counter, ours included.
- Is the purity screen facing you? A karatmeter reading should be on a screen you can read yourself. If the tester sits turned away, ask why.
- Is the scale facing you? The weight in grams should be visible before anything is written down. Compare it with a bill or a family note if you have one.
- Is the rate named before the test? Ask which rate they use and where it comes from. A buyer who cannot say it plainly is hiding something or does not know.
- Are the deductions named? If a stone, meena or clasp is taken off the weight, ask for it to be said aloud. Our post on stones, meena and clasps explains why this happens.
- Can you say no and leave with your gold? Nothing should be melted, cut or scratched until you agree. If anyone makes you feel awkward for asking, that is your answer.
The longer version of these questions is in Five questions to ask any buyer. The five above are the ones you can do standing at the counter.
Which two quotes are worth getting?
Do not collect six. Two give you everything you need.
Quote one: a plain cash quote from a buyer who tests in front of you. This tells you what your gold is worth as gold, with the weight and purity on show. It is the number to hold against everything else.
Quote two: the exchange or buyback value from the jeweller where you would otherwise trade. Ask for it with the deduction written out. Then you can compare like with like. The post on cash or exchange at a jeweller covers where each wins.
If the two differ, ask both buyers to explain the gap. A fair buyer can walk you through it. Our post on why two shops quote differently lists the usual reasons. Compare the rate, the weight and the purity reading, not just the final figure.
Does your part of Noida Extension change the choice?
A little. Most people in Gaur City 1 and 2, Sector 1, 4, 16, 16B and 16C, Tech Zone 4, Amrapali Dream Valley and Leisure Valley, or Crossings Republik across the road, walk in or ride over in about ten to fifteen minutes (a map estimate). From Gaur Chowk (Char Murti), Ek Murti Chowk, Bisrakh Road, Kisan Chowk, Patwari or Vaidpura, plan a short ride. At that distance, going to two counters on one afternoon is realistic.
What sellers here usually bring is a mix: a few wedding chains, old bangles, a single ring or two, and sometimes a broken piece from a family box. If that is you, Selling gold near Gaur City describes the trip. The Noida Extension page and the locality page cover the rest.
When is a home pickup the right call?
A pickup makes sense if you would rather not carry gold on the road. This applies to an older relative, a heavy set, or a day when you cannot leave the house. A pickup is not a different price. The same weight, the same karatmeter reading and the same rate apply, and you can say no at the door.
If you are unsure, read Is it safe to sell gold to a buyer who comes to your home?. Then run the same five checks. Ask the buyer to show the screen and the scale first.
Where do we fit in this?
We are one of the counters you can compare. The point of difference is simple: the karatmeter screen and the scale face you, so you can read both yourself. We are open 9 am to 10 pm, every day, and the address and map are on the visit page.
You can also call or WhatsApp 9217742656 to ask how a pickup works, or what to bring, before you decide anything. A call commits you to nothing.
Questions people ask
How do I choose a buyer for a gold sell in Noida Extension? Pick the one that shows you the purity reading and the weight on screens facing you, and names the rate and any deduction before it quotes. Get one cash quote and one exchange quote, then compare.
Is it safe to sell gold to a buyer who comes to my home? It can be, if you run the same checks you would at a counter and can say no at the door. Ask to see the screen and scale first, and do not hand over gold until you agree.
Can I ask questions before I come to the counter? Yes. Call or WhatsApp 9217742656 with your questions about weight, purity, bills or pickup. You do not need to bring anything to ask.
